10 July 2014 - 08:00 CET The ARC Centre of Excellence for Particle Physics at the Terascale (CoEPP) is a collaborative research venture between the University of Melbourne, the University of Adelaide, the University of Sydney and Monash University. Through the Centre, terascale, high-energy and particle physics research across Australia is coordinated, bringing together theoretical and experimental physicists, who work on the ATLAS experiment. This ATLAS virtual visit is the culmination of our international masterclass day for high-school students. Students will work with CoEPP physicists to analyse ATLAS events and then — like in an international research collaboration — the participants join in a video conference for discussion and combination of their results. The discussion of results will be moderated by Fermilab.
