2 Octobre 2014 - 08:45 CET in English

Building on last year’s success, high-school students and teachers in five countries will have the unique opportunity to interact live with researchers at the ATLAS and CMS experiments at CERN and researchers at the IceCube Neutrino Observatory in Antarctica. This virtual visit is the second event in the series, “Bringing Frontier Science to Schools”, that aims to connect the two laboratories, supported by the Open Discovery Space (ODS) project. ODS brings millions of educational resources directly into school classrooms, and empowers teachers to build their schools’ digital libraries, join lively communities of peers to share best practices, and connect their schools virtually with the world’s best research centres, museums and libraries.
Hosts: Steve Goldfarb (ATLAS), Andromachi Tsirou (CMS), Zoltan Zsillasi (CMS), Noemi Beni (CMS), Angelos Alexopoulos (CERN)
